The jug is entirely handmade by Italian master craftsmen, it has been antiqued according to the medieval style of the fourteenth century, inspired by some mugs with the coat of arms of the Manfredi family kept at the MIC of Faenza
It is enamelled internally; while the external surface, with the exception of the foot, presents a layer of enamel still poor according to the ways of the medieval Archaic period. The shield of the Manfredi in the simple two-tone brown and green gives the emblem the flavor of a rustic homage to the Lord of the city of Faenza. The eight-pointed star, to the side of the handle, can refer to Astorgio I Manfredi, lord of Faenza, and to his company of fortune of 1379.
It is ideal to use as a jug to serve wine or beer at the tavern, in events reminiscent of medieval times or as a gift idea.
The jug is handmade and antiqued, so each piece is unique.
