The pockets are produced in Italy and packaged in bags to prevent them from creasing during transport.

The glass holder pocket is made of PLA material (polylactic acid), which is a biodegradable and compostable plastic material that is produced from renewable sources such as corn starch, sugar cane or other biomass.

PLA is biodegradable, which means that it can be decomposed by natural microorganisms in the environment.

This process occurs faster than with traditional plastics, reducing the time plastic waste persists in the environment.

In addition, PLA is also compostable, which means it can be turned into compost that can be used as soil fertiliser (for proper handling, check your municipality's waste management guidelines).
